Why ultrasound prices differ across Bangalore
Two scans with the same name can differ a lot. Ask three questions before you compare prices:
- Who does the scan? At larger chains a sonographer or technician may scan and a radiologist reports later. At Nitara, the radiologist scans and reports.
- How detailed is it? A thorough anomaly scan checks every organ system and takes time. A short scan at a lower price may not.
- Do you get to ask questions? Findings explained in person save a second visit to understand the report.
